Overview
During Reunion Week (Sunday, May 23 – Sunday, May 30), students do much of the work in helping the giant Harvard Reunion effort to run effectively. This year, we are also introducing a post-Reunion job with the Harvard Business School, June 1 – June 6. Read more details about this job below.
Students who work Pre-Commencement can choose to compete for one of approximately 120 competitive reunion jobs. Approximately 350 other (non-competitive) jobs are available to all students—both those who worked Pre-Commencement and those who did not. Applications for non-competitive jobs will be available starting mid-February from the Harvard Alumni Association. No application is necessary for competitive jobs; you only need to tell Dorm Crew that you are planning on seeking a competitive job on your Dorm Crew application.
Please take notice:
You should not apply for a non-competitive job through the HAA and also tell Dorm Crew you are planning to seek a competitive job. If you plan to seek a competitive job and are not offered one, you may choose to then apply for a non-competitive job at the end of Pre-Commencement. In the case that you are not awarded a competitive job, you may keep your housing as long as you show up to work during Reunion Week at the Dorm Crew Office: some odd jobs may be available to you.
All bellhops, liquor crew members, night sitters, baby sitters, day and night counselors, drivers, and superintendents’ assistants must attend a mandatory orientation meeting on the Sunday beginning Reunion Week.
Non-Competitive Reunion Jobs
The following jobs are issued through the Harvard Alumni Association. You may apply for them as part of the SCU/Reunion Jobs Common Application. Applicants who accept any of these positions are NOT eligible for competitive reunion jobs. For more questions on these jobs, please contact Gretchen Picken at the Alumni Association.
Please note that many of the jobs below have already been filled for Reunion Jobs 2010. Only the leftover jobs available are listed on the application.
