Term-time Dorm Crew: the best job on campus.

If you answer yes to any of these, then Dorm Crew is for you.

If you start working for Dorm Crew with Fall Clean-Up and continue throughout the year for ten hours a week, you will earn over $3700. And, if you commit to working ten hours a week, we will guarantee you the opportunity to stick around for Spring Clean-Up, five weeks of work after final exams during which you can earn another $2350 to $3000. Additionally, if you become a Full Captain, you can expect to earn between $10,000 and $20,000 a year. But Dorm Crew provides more than a competitive wage with lucrative opportunities: our jobs offer great flexibility. You can work as few as two or as many as twenty hours during the week, between 8:00am and 5:30pm (depending on your type of work), allowing you to schedule your work around extracurricular activities and classes.

Wet Work
Hours: Weekdays, anytime between 10:00am and 4:30pm (5:30pm in the Yard). Work is also available on weekends in most houses.
Responsibilities: Cleaning private student bathrooms.
The flexibility of wet work can’t be beat. Set your own schedule, and change it whenever you want! While performing a service greatly appreciated by the student body, wet workers also enjoy the time alone to think or listen to music.

Inspectors
During the school year, Dorm Crew hires undergraduate students to carry out monthly safety inspections in the Yard and the Houses. Inspectors must commit to a minimum number of hours each month, to be set by their Captain, and must be able to finish their assigned inspections by the 10th of each month. The hours requirement varies by house because each set of inspections takes a different amount of time and some Captains may choose to hire multiple inspectors. However, this is a great way to still work for Dorm Crew and make money if you cannot make a weekly commitment. Most inspections take place outside of student rooms and so can be done at any time. Inspectors make $12.00/hour but will not be eligible for promotion to become trial captains in the Spring. Please email us at dorm_crew@harvard.edu.

As a courtesy to your fellow students who may also want to use the equipment, please return supplies within one hour of checking them out.
